About this activity
Embark on an exciting 4×4 adventure, starting with pick-up at your hotel in El Calafate. After a short 20-minute drive, you will arrive at the estancia to begin a unique ascent of Cerro Frias.
Enjoy a winding route that offers breathtaking views of Lake Argentino and the Patagonian steppe. At 450 meters above sea level, the first viewpoint reveals the spectacular Lago Argentino and its most important branches, while the highest point offers 360-degree panoramic views, including Los Glaciares National Park, Cerro Fitz Roy and Torres del Paine.
After exploring these views, descend down the south face of the hill through a forest of native lenga trees. The experience culminates with an afternoon snack at the cozy Alice Ranchwhere you can enjoy delicious pastafrolas, tortafritas and other traditional Argentine flavors in an impressive natural environment.
